SAFETY IN EVERY RIDE: EITA PROMOTES SAFER ELEVATOR USE AT KKKA DUTAMAS

Safety begins with awareness—and knowing how to use an elevator correctly can make every journey safer for everyone.

On 15 August 2026, EITA conducted the Safety Campaign @ Kompleks Kediaman Kakitangan Awam (KKKA) Dutamas, aimed at raising awareness among residents on the proper and safe use of elevators. The campaign, held from 8.00 am to 1.30 pm, saw participation from approximately 200 residents of KKKA, Jalan Duta.

The campaign combined safety education with a variety of fun and engaging activities, giving residents an opportunity to learn about elevator safety in an enjoyable and interactive way. Through games, activities, food, and direct engagement with the EITA team, participants were introduced to important safety practices, including proper behaviour inside the elevator, safe entry and exit, and the importance of following safety instructions.

Through direct engagement and safety awareness activities, residents were encouraged to adopt safe habits and remain mindful of others when using shared elevator facilities.

The strong participation reflects the community’s interest in creating a safer living environment. EITA remains committed to promoting elevator safety and sharing practical knowledge with building occupants and the wider community.

Together, small actions can make every elevator journey a safer one.
