Recycling at Bukit Raja

At EITA group level, our recycling mission began in 2016. EITA wishes to do its own part to preserve Mother Earth for the future generations.

We also worked in close collaboration with Tzu Chi for them to collect our recyclable items for our various office sites. In turn, these recycle items are “converted” to fund their various charitable activities.

On 25 Sep 2021, we arranged our very 1st recycling collection with Tzu Chi at Bukit Raja. At Bukit Raja where EITA Elevator Group of Companies new HQ is located, we continue our recycling efforts to promote “Good Feel” caring for our Mother Earth.

Recycling Centre

At Bukit Raja, a dedicated Recycling Collection Centre was set up to centralised the collection of our recyclable items.

These recyclable items came from many different sources such as, from warehouse – packaging boxes and plastics, from various office floors – used papers, and courier packages from reception.

Collection from Office

Recycle Bins are placed conveniently at each floor to allow staff to easy drop off used paper items. We have cleaners who then collect these recyclable items from the recycle bins and drop them off at our Recycling Collection Centre.

For your information, rubbish bins are not provided at our employee’s workstation. Our employees will think twice before discarding any items.

Collection from House

We also encourage employee’s families to join the recycling activities to create further awareness to care for our environment. We organised weekly routine for our good-hearted employees to bring any household recyclable items from their home.

Rainwater Harvesting

Also, at Bukit Raja we practice rainwater harvesting to further our efforts in recycling, and to save and protect Mother Nature.

A special water tank was built to channel rain water from the factory roof. The rain water is then used to water our plants/tree surrounding our compound, to wash our internal driveway and wash our numerous transport vehicles.

Staffs are also encouraged to wash their cars using the harvested rain water.
