Malaysia Book or Records (MBR) handed over the MBR certificate “Tallest Elevator Test Tower in Malaysia” to Mr. J.S. Lim (Eita Elevator Malaysia – EEM) and Mr. F.S. Wee (EITA-Schneider Mfg – ESM), thus officially recognising EITA-Schneider’s elevator test tower to be the tallest in Malaysia.

The new Bukit Raja site which is the HQ for EITA Elevator Group of Companies is indeed a key milestone in the history of EITA. Especially, with the construction of the elevator test tower, it now clearly positioned and reinforced EEM’s reputation as an elevator manufacturer.

The elevator test tower height is recorded at 286 ft (87.2 metre), with a built up of 14,224 sq.ft. It has 4 lift shafts with an observation deck at the top. This elevator test tower will serve as a key R&D facility to allow for in-house R&D to be carried for effectively. Our on-going R&D initiatives focus on innovating new products, improving quality, incorporating energy efficient solutions, enhancing safety and compliance to international standards.
