EITA STRENGTHENS COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS THROUGH BACK-TO-SCHOOL INITIATIVE

On 5 January 2026, EITA Resources Berhad organised a Back-to-School event from 10.00am to 12.00pm its Bukit Raja HQ, welcoming children from Persatuan Kebajikan Rakan Lutheran Selangor for a meaningful and engaging session ahead of the new school term.

The initiative was aimed at supporting the children by distributing school uniforms, helping them prepare for the upcoming academic year. In addition to this, the programme placed strong emphasis on safety education, introducing participants to the proper and safe use of elevators and escalators commonly found in office buildings and public spaces.

To ensure the session was engaging and age-appropriate, activities were tailored to different age groups. Children below the age of 12 participated in a colouring activity, providing a creative and enjoyable way to engage younger participants. Meanwhile, children aged 12 and above were given materials and tasked with building a STEM lift model, encouraging problem-solving, teamwork, and hands-on learning. To add excitement, a prize was awarded to the team that successfully completed the model first.

Throughout the session, children also learned basic safety practices, including safe behaviour when entering and exiting elevators, standing correctly on escalators, and remaining aware of their surroundings. These lessons were delivered in an interactive and accessible manner, reinforcing everyday safety habits in a fun and memorable way.

The Back-to-School event reflects EITA’s continued commitment to community engagement, education, and safety awareness. By combining practical support, educational activities, and safety training, the Group aims to create positive social impact and meaningful experiences for the communities it serves.

EITA extends its thanks to everyone involved for their time, effort, and commitment in creating a meaningful and enjoyable experience for our employees and their children. Their commitment and teamwork ensured a smooth and enriching experience for all participants, reinforcing EITA’s values of care, responsibility, and community partnership.
