On 14 May 2026, more than 100 employees of EITA Resources Berhad participated physically and virtually in a meaningful sharing session on organ donation and the Silent Mentor Program at its Bukit Raja headquarters.

The session featured two distinguished speakers – Dr. Juliza from the Ministry of Health Malaysia and Dr. Saw Aik from University of Malaya – who shared valuable insights on the importance of organ donation, medical education, and the impact of selfless giving.

The date itself carried special significance, as “514” is pronounced wu yi si (无一私) in mandarin, symbolising “selflessness.” During the session, Dr. Saw explained the journey and process of becoming a Silent Mentor, highlighting how donors and their families are treated with dignity, care and utmost respect throughout the programme.

Following the session, several employees stepped forward to register themselves as organ donors – a meaningful act of compassion and generosity towards saving lives. EITA extends its heartfelt appreciation to those who made this selfless commitment. For those who have yet to sign up, it is never too late to make a difference and become an organ donor. The event served as a meaningful reminder of the importance of compassion, humanity, and giving back to society through acts of selflessness.
